The best way of Mirror Lighting

Each of us use mirror to check ourselves at least once a day. Mirror Lighting is a tiny important detail that none of us mind very much. Here are some good tips to see ourselves better on the mirror...

Illuminated Bathroom Mirror, 600mm x 600mm Illuminated Bathroom Mirror

1. Place the lighting fixture on two sides of the mirror vertically just at the level of your eye to minimize shadows cast by your eyebrowes, chin and nose. Deep shadows create unwanted old looking faces. Alternatively you could also place the fixture horizontally on the mirror.

    2. Choose linear fixtures with opaque shileding or opaque front so that the light source is hidden and the   diffuse light coming out of the fixture, creates a homogenous effect on your face without any shadows.

    3. Choose bulbs with high color rendering index (CRI>80) and with a lower color temperature between 2700-3500K which is also known as 827,830, 835 Color codes.

    4. Use light color paintings or wallpapers on the walls, so that reflection of light from the walls would be higher resultingly  you face will appear clearer.

Good Luck.
